Fragrance Guide
Whether you're new to the world of perfumery or a seasoned collector, this guide will help you navigate our collection and find your perfect scent.
Understanding Fragrance Families
Oriental & Woody
Rich, warm, and sensual. These fragrances feature notes of oud, amber, musk, sandalwood, and spices. Think Al Haramain, Lattafa, and Maison Alhambra — perfect for evenings and cooler weather.
Floral
Fresh, romantic, and feminine. Built around rose, jasmine, peony, and lily, these are versatile day-to-night options beloved by our women's collection.
Fresh & Citrus
Light, clean, and invigorating. Ideal for daytime wear and warmer months. Notes of bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, and green tea give an immediate sense of freshness.
Fougère & Aromatic
Classic masculine territory. Lavender, oakmoss, and coumarin form the backbone — the foundation of many iconic men's designer fragrances.
Concentration Guide
- Parfum (Extrait) — 20–40% fragrance oil. The most intense and long-lasting. A little goes a long way.
- Eau de Parfum (EDP) — 15–20% oil. Rich sillage, lasts 6–8+ hours. Our most popular concentration.
- Eau de Toilette (EDT) — 5–15% oil. Lighter, great for daily wear. Reapply as needed.
How to Apply Fragrance
- Apply to pulse points: wrists, neck, behind the ears, inner elbows.
- Don't rub your wrists together — this breaks down the molecules and shortens longevity.
- Spray from 15–20 cm away for even distribution.
- Layer with an unscented moisturiser on dry skin to extend longevity.
Building Your Wardrobe
We recommend having at least three fragrances in rotation: a fresh daytime scent, a rich evening fragrance, and a seasonal signature. Explore our full collection to build yours.
